When you decide on Monday that you will make fried chicken on Saturday, and then on Friday your co-worker brings you some of her 10-year old sourdough starter and just happens to mention that she uses it for making waffles, what does that mean?
Maybe only that the universe is shouting at you to MAKE CHICKEN AND WAFFLES IMMEDIATELY. Or at least on Sunday.
I mean, obviously.
I'm going to also pretend the universe told me to douse that fried chicken in hot sauce and then smother it in ranch dressing, THEN smash it between two puffy triangles of waffle, because no way was that 100% my idea.
The sliver of lettuce for decorum's sake, that was all me.
By the time you finish, there will be sweat running down your face and sauce running all over your hands, so best eaten alone or with very very good friends.
